It's a strange feeling actually submitting a journal entry, as I never do. But I recently got my first set of decent photography equipment and I thought it was relevant. Last week I got an Olympus Evolt E-500 dual lens kit. The two lenses were a 14-45mm and a 40-150mm and they can just about cover all the ground I need them to. This is my first experience with a fully manual camera as the first thing I did once I turned it on was shut off all the automatic settings. It's a whole different deal from my Olympus Camedia that I just moved up from. Anyway, my point is that I hope that this new camera will make its presence known in the quality of my new photographs, or at least some of them.
